***** Making a Difference - A very special thank you to all our friends *****

Meet Catrina, a seven year old second grader living in Michigan, with her mom Sharon.

We'd like to thank Catrina for being a champion of the Sock-athon. She helped her mom gather email addresses and
made fliers up describing the sock-a-thon, then distributed throughout her neighborhood and to local schools and community centers.

She is also looked up information on the Internet regarding important topics such as homelessness and the environment to better understand the issues and what can be done about them.

Catrina addressed envelopes to about 15 schools in the area and even sent one to Barack Obama asking them to post the flyer!

What does Catrina's mom have to say about all this?

Devmir along with all of the Sock-athon volunteers would like to thank Catrina and her mom for caring enough to get involved and do something to affect positive change in the world. With friends like Catrina anything is possible.

If Catrina has inspired your participation, please mention her after you have made your purchase, on the follow up window that asks who inspired your purchase. We want to let Catrina now just how much of an impact she has had on this worthwhile cause.

"In today's world, we are constantly bombarded with things essentially out of our control -- war, bailouts, foreclosures, etc.  Let's show our kids that good things happen as well. "
